Product Description
Vui-Tui Map Marking Protractor
The Vui-Tui Protractor is designed to live inside the cover of a Vui-Tui or field message notebook, so your protractor, stencil and range card are always within arm's reach when the overlay comes out. A 360° mils military protractor with a NATO warfighting symbology stencil, a range-finding arc, and coordinate scale plotters for 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and 1:100,000 military topographic maps — all on one sheet of 1.5mm flexible PETG sized to fit the notebook cover pocket. What it does: plots full 360° grid azimuths in mils (0–6400), marks friendly, enemy and neutral units with cut-through stencil shapes, estimates range via the integrated sector arc, and measures distance across three standard military map scales. The all-in-one design was originally developed for patrol leaders and forward observers who hate carrying loose bits of kit. Why fit it to a Vui-Tui: the notebook is already the primary field record — patrol reports, call-for-fire templates, SITREPs. Having your plotting tool living inside the cover means nothing is ever left in the last patrol base. A quiet reliability upgrade the moment you start carrying it. Printed on 1.5mm PETG: UV-cured graphics on the reverse, zero parallax error, waterproof, UV stable, solvent-resistant, flexible. Slides into the notebook cover without bulging. Ideal uses: forward observer kit, patrol leader kit, RMC, ADFA and Australian Army Cadets field exercises, SAR, orienteering, bushcraft, overland expedition. shipped from Buderim QLD, manufactured in Australia.
