Arabic Protractor
The Arabic GTA Protractor is a faithful reproduction of the US Army GTA 05-02-012 Coordinate Scale and Protractor with all graduations, numerals and labels rendered in Arabic script. Designed for Arabic-speaking land navigation trainees, SFA (Security Force Assistance) partner-nation programmes, allied-forces training and Arabic-language military education. What it does: plots grid azimuths in both degrees and mils with Arabic numerals, and measures distances on 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and 1:100,000 military topographic maps. Every function of the standard GTA 05-02-012, with a script and numeric system familiar to Arabic-speaking students. Why it matters: native-language training tools accelerate learning, reduce error and build confidence. For ADF training teams, allied training missions, and Arabic-speaking RMC and ADFA candidates, an Arabic GTA is a meaningful practical upgrade over translating numerals on the fly. Printed on 1.5mm PETG: UV-cured graphics on the reverse, zero parallax error, waterproof, UV stable, solvent-resistant, flexible. Same field-proven construction as every MTT protractor.
